This is Mariano, and he is 5 years old. Mariano hasn’t been on a scooter for that long, but that doesn’t stop him from riding! Mariano, for his age, is a very good and strong rider. He has been through the craziest crashes at McKinney Skate Park but I’m happy that hasn’t intimidated him. He has progressed a great amount for the time he has been riding. Marianos’ future for progressing in this sport is very bright.

When I first met Mariano, he was on a small scooter barely pumping around ramps and bowls in the skatepark. Ever since I’ve started working with him, we always tackle and practice the little things to get him better at the sport, and man has that left an impact on his riding! Mariano can now pump and go fast around bowls, jump into ramps, and even get big amounts of air when he jumps out of ramps. The progression has gone so far that we just started working on tailwhips, and he is already super close to learning them. Mariano will soon be an outstanding scooter rider, and he will learn many new tricks in the future.
